Xiaomi’s Upcoming Civi 3 Passes Certification
Xiaomi, a leading Chinese smartphone maker, recently launched its high-end flagship Xiaomi 13 Ultra in a new conference. However, there are reports of a new smartphone that has received mandatory product certification, and it is speculated that it may be the Xiaomi Civi 3.
The model number of this new smartphone is 23046PNC9C, and it comes with a 67W charger. The product manager of Xiaomi Civi, Xinxin, has also teased the arrival of a new smartphone, which is expected to be the Xiaomi Civi 3.
According to reports, the Xiaomi Civi 3 is likely to come with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8200 chip. This is a significant upgrade from the previous Snapdragon 778G Plus and Snapdragon 7 Gen1 chips. The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip is designed with 8 cores and uses a 1+3+4 triple-cluster architecture. It features four Cortex-A78 large cores and four Cortex-A55 small cores, with one A78 large core capable of being clocked at 3.1GHz.
This powerful processor is built using TSMC’s 4nm process and is expected to offer exceptional performance. In terms of benchmark scores, the Dimensity 8200 chip is said to score over 900,000 points on AnTuTu, while the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen1 chip used in the Xiaomi Civi 2 scores less than 600,000 points. This means that the Xiaomi Civi 3 will be significantly more powerful than its predecessor.
The Xiaomi Civi 3 is also expected to feature an FHD+ 120Hz high refresh rate screen and a front-facing 32MP dual camera. The design of the smartphone is said to be similar to the current Xiaomi Civi 2, with a “pill” dugout screen and a Dynamic Island-style design, similar to the iPhone 14 Pro. The bezel of the smartphone is also expected to feature hidden two soft light, which is popular among users.
While the smartphone has not been officially announced yet, the product manager’s teasing of the device suggests that it will be released soon. Fans of Xiaomi and smartphone enthusiasts alike will be eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Xiaomi Civi 3, which is expected to be a significant upgrade from the Xiaomi Civi 2.
