Rolling its durable and tough smartphone series, Honour has launched the Honor X7c in Nepal. The smartphone is part of the Honor X7 series, which includes the Honor X7, X7a, and X7b. The X7c has a tough build and protection against drops and water. Honor’s X9b, launched some time ago in Nepal, also had the same tough build quality, making it quite popular in Nepal.
The Honor X7c will compete against the Samsung Galaxy M15 5G, the Redmi Note 13 4G, the Realme 12X and the OPPO A3 available in the same price range in Nepal. The Honor X7c will be favourable for people who are flimsy with their smartphone dropping or damaging it.

Design and Display
The design of the Honor X7c is similar to other Honor X series smartphone lineups like the Honor X8b and Honor X6a. It has a square-shaped camera module with rounded edges on the top left corner. The X7c has three colour options; forest green, midnight black and moonlight white. The midnight black is a plain black matte finish with 8.09 mm thickness. The moonlight white option has a wavy marble pattern with a thickness of 8.24 mm, and the forest green option has a vegan leather back with the same thickness as the moonlight white. The frame is also made up of plastic and has a shiny finish.
The Honor X7c has solid built quality, 5-star drop resistance, and protection with tempered glass and an advanced cushioning architecture. It received the Swiss SGS Premium Performance Certification for impact resistance. Its IP64 dust and water resistance is verified through a 3-minute washing test, which ensures durability against accidental splashes for reliable protection.
The front of the Honor X7c has a Hole-punch cutout which houses the selfie camera. The bezels on the top and sides are thin whereas the bottom bezel is a bit on the thicker side. The HONOR X7c features a large 6.77-inch TFT LCD that offers a resolution of 1610 x 720 which delivers decent detail for everyday use. The 120 Hz refresh rate makes scrolling and animations smooth, with the support for 16.7 million colours.

The HONOR X7c is powered by the Snapdragon 685 chipset built on a 6nm process for efficient performance. It features an octa-core CPU with a mix of 2.8 GHz Cortex-A73 and 1.9 GHz Cortex-A53 cores. The Adreno 610 GPU handles the graphics performance.
It runs on MagicOS 8, which is based on Android 14 and delivers smooth UI performance. The Honor X7c has one memory option of 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The HONOR X7c boasts a dual-rear camera system featuring a 108MP main camera with an f/1.75 aperture for high-resolution images of up to 12000 x 9000 pixels. It is supported by a 2MP depth camera with an f/2.4 aperture for capturing portrait shots. The rear camera supports up to 8x digital zoom and offers various capture modes, including Photo, Video, Portrait, Night, Aperture, PRO, Watermark and HDR Photo. It also supports 1080P video recording at 30fps for videography experience.
The HONOR X7c features an 8MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture, for selfies with a resolution of up to 3264 x 2448 pixels. It supports 1080P video recording at 30fps. The front camera includes versatile capture modes like Photo, Video, and Portrait.

The HONOR X7c is powered by a large 6000 mAh battery, providing long usage. The large battery delivers up to 24 hours of online streaming, 18 hours of short videos, 59 hours of music playback and 46 hours of calls. To charge up the large battery the X7c supports 35W wired charging. The smartphone has dual SIM support, including a hybrid slot for a Nano SIM or MicroSD card. It has LTE connectivity for reliable mobile network performance for calls and data usage.
For connectivity, the HONOR X7c includes dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) with support for 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac standards and Bluetooth 5.0 for smooth pairing with compatible devices.
